Shade 8 Standard is the 3D graphics toolkit that delivers powerful 3D modeling, rendering and animation for designers, illustrators and architects. Shade's intuitive, easy-to-use interface and 900+ included 3D models such as furniture, buildings and vehicles speed up the design and modeling process to improve workflow. Modeling is aided by comprehensive mesh editing tools. Shade imports and exports popular CAD formats, and incorporates raytracing and radiosity to produce superior renderings of imported projects. Rendering times can be dramatically reduced via distributed rendering over two machines at once.
Diverse Set of Modeling Tools
PoserFusion allows you the option of using Poser 7 or earlier for figure creation, posing and animation, and then combining Poser files with Shade's powerful modeling, rendering, and animation capabilities.
How does PoserFusion Work? You can use Shade 8 with Poser as follows: Create a geometric object using Shade. Import the geometric object into Poser and convert it into a figure using the Setup Room (described in the Poser user documentation). Save your new figure to either *.pz3 or the compressed *.pzz format. Launch Shade and open your new Poser figure within it.
You can also export Poser figures as OBJ files, allowing you to (for example) create UV data or modify material groups. As you can see, using Poser with Shade is a fast and effective means of adding high-quality residents to your 3D worlds.
